Floor time...

The painters are done for now...they will have to come back to do touch-ups but they are done for now. I'm very anxious to get the floors and trim up now that the painters are done to get a real view of what the house will look like when it's all done. We really like all the paint colors we picked out which is a good thing.

We had to clean the drywall off the floors the last couple of weekends and that has been a challenge it's not terrible but a little hard on the knees crawling around on the floor I see now why some of those floor guys wear knee pads. We finished all the cleaning for the floors that are being done first and we only have a couple more rooms to do. We had a little help cleaning which was great...it's great when your nieces and nephews owe you money so you can make them pay with child labor :)

This week so far the electricity has been run to the house instead of just having it at the temporary pole, we have exterior door knobs so we can lock the doors, we have lights delivered, we have some outlets already up with the covers up which makes a world of difference, the concrete for the pad and sidewalk estimates being done and the tile floor starting. The tile and permastone floors will be comleted on the 19th. The closets completed on the 20th and then cabinets starting on the 21st. I will keep you posted!!

The kitchen and great room...the color is absolute beige.

The theater room is a grey color.
